Chair Simulator is a free simulation game developed by MSCHF Product Studios Inc. It is a quirky life sim that has players buy chairs, sit on them, and accumulate Sit Points. They can then purchase even more different types of these leisurely devices to collect and enjoy.
From the same developer who collaborated on the Finger On The App 2 mobile game, comes Chair Simulator, another release that is just as weird and pointless, but offers an oddly satisfying experience. This time around, it's all about the simple joys of sitting down on a chair and just lounging.
Take a seat
Simulator games have jumped in popularity in recent years, tapping into various themes. Some of the most successful ones have you live life on the road, while others let you experience the trials and tribulations of a certain farm animal. With all of that being said, Chair Simulator is a game that came completely out of left field, and it might just be the most bizarre one yet.
True to its name, this game is all about the chairs. It features 14 playable characters based on real-life personalities and public figures. As for the sitting platforms themselves, there are hundreds available to lay your glutes on. You have two locations where you can sit down and relax. The first is from the comfort of your living room. The second is a blue and yellow furniture store.
Gameplay, for what it is, switches between just sitting and relaxing to maintaining good posture. There is a Sit Point System that will award you with points that you can use to purchase even more chairs for your collection. The only thing worth noting is that sitting too long will result in some deadly consequences. Outside of these things, though, there really isn't much else to do in the game.
Sit all day
Do not approach this game and expect some kind of surprise gameplay or features to wow you. Instead, take it for what it is, a weird simulator about sitting on chairs, and you will have a funny and oddly relaxing time with it. Try out the various characters available and try to grow your collection as much as you can. Pull up a chair and start sitting.
